For many years the Littleton Gem and Mineral Club has put a display at the Bemis Library, located at 6014 South Dutura Street in Littleton. The theme for 2010 was Fossil's. In the future, the exhibit will be in September following the theme of the Denver Gem and Mineral Show. The following note was received by Deputy Director of the Library:
"The fossil display at the Bemis Library during
the Month of January was an outstanding
display that attracted much interest from our
library patrons. We received a number of
comments from patrons regarding the wide
variety and fascinating nature of the items
in the display case. Young children would bring
a stool over to the case to look over the items
on display. The accompanying notes were very
helpful and appreciated by patrons. In my
opinion, this display was one of the best
displays we have ever had in our display case;
it was well organized and full of interesting
information for all ages."
